Seabou

Seabou begins with a 4” acrylic bloom base in shades of turquoise, coral, and royal blue. The bottom spokes are secured with twining and then the sides start strong with a 4-rod wale. Extra spokes are inserted for additional strength within the ridge weave as well as the border. The modified trac border is a dramatic touch that completes quickly and easily.

What’s the Porpoise?

This basket is constructed using a maple base, solid rim and staves with cane weavers. A dyed black cane twill design adds contrast. A black acrylic porpoise adorns the side. (other options will be available at the class) This basket can be used for mail, remotes and anything else you can think of!

Caribbean Teleidoscope

This teleidoscope is twill woven of natural and dyed black ash over the tube. With no moving parts and a large glass marble as the lens, it makes lovely patterns based upon what you point it at. Reminiscent of colors of the Caribbean seas, this is a perfect keepsake.

Sweet Grass Treasure

Using lovely sweetgrass, students will explore the possibilities in coiling with waxed linen thread. Select from a wrapped start or a cabochon center, create a little basket or amulet to wear. Select your waxed linen spool color, included in the class fee. Add beads into the coil, wrapped sections and explore the possibilities! Several inspirational samples will be presented to help you create your own treasure! If doing an amulet, a leather cord and finding to string it on will be included.

Treasure Trash Combo

Woven on a slotted base, the basket features twining, start-stop weaving with different size reeds. Also included are triple weaving, curls, and braid feathers. Blue hearts accent basket.
